The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says teachers at the former Ħamrun Liċeo will from today not give lessons in classes where a particularly unruly student is in attendance, as discipline problems at the school escalate. In another story, it says Prime Minister Joseph Muscat spent a sixth of his declared income on an €11,000 stay at the lavish Atlantis hotel in Dubai last year.

In-Nazzjon says Dr Muscat confirms he paid €11,000 just for the hotel during a six-day holiday in Dubai.

The Malta Independent says the Valletta sea tunnel could be operational by the end of 2018.

L-Orizzont says precarious employment has been eradicated thanks to the General Workers Union.
