These are the main stories featured in today's newspapers:

Times of Malta reports that public healthcare could soon be hit by industrial
action unless disputes over the privatisation of three State hospitals are not resolved by today week. It also reports that the law governing the financing of
political parties also applies to companies they own, according to both the Prime Minister and the Justice Minister.

In-Nazzjon quotes Opposition leader Simon Busuttil saying that he would rather choose the right path than the easy one. It also features a picture of a diver close to the Azure Window which crashed into the sea last Wednesday.

The Malta Independent says NGOs have urged the government to leave the Azure Window site alone and to concentrate instead on other areas worth saving. It also quotes the Home Affairs Ministry rejecting any claims of ministerial interfering in the police force. 

L-oriżżont says a system introduced during the Eddie Fenech Adami era has seen private companies pay the salaries of Nationalist Party officials. It also reports that the Marsa power station has been switched off for good.
