Good morning, the following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers. 

Times of Malta reports that the company which owns double-decker sighting tour buses has blamed Transport Malta for a tragedy which saw two tourists killed when a bus hit an overhanging tree. It also reports that the prime minister called for more police patrols in Marsa. 

The Malta Independent says that yet another development application has been submitted for a building which will include a swimming pool near Xaghra stone circle, a sensitive area because of archaeological finds.

In-Nazzjon reports that an official from the secretariat of Parliamentary Secretary Silvio Parnis was sent to Zejtun Tribunal to defend a woman accused of traffic contraventions. Mr Parnis is responsible for local councils.

l-orizzont leads with the prime minister's speech on Sunday, saying this is a government which keeps its word, as evidenced by the latest tax rebates. It also says final preparations are being made for Malta Pride Week.
