The Egrant inquiry testimonies in court on Friday dominated the front pages of newspapers.

Times of Malta says Prime Minister Joseph Muscat claimed in court yesterday that he had not read the entire Egrant magisterial inquiry report despite saying his entire career depended on its conclusion. It also reports that trappers shot down a number of rules the government introduced as part of a deal with Brussels to reopen the trapping season.

In-Nazzjon takes a different lead from the Egrant court case, and says that the Justice Minister had contradicted the Attorney General. The second story reports there was anger among MCAST staff after they found a drastic reduction in their salary.

L-orizzont quotes Joseph Muscat saying he wanted to know who was behind the Egrant "lie". Another story says the government was investing €100 million in the roads.

The Malta Independent also reports the prime minister's testimony on the Egrant inquiry case. In another story, a GRTU official is quoted as saying that facial recognition cameras have been announced at the right time.
