These are the main stories featured in Saturday's newspapers:

Times of Malta reports that Malta will again have to dig into its pockets to
make good for not reaching EU-wide emission targets, according to a new report. A secondary story quotes the Guardian of Future Generations saying Malta's rental property market fell short of what befitted a modern European country.

In-Nazzjon says it has been confirmed that the price of potatoes would be increasing after an increase in the price of other products. A second story says Environment Minister Jose Herrera was aware that the new waste separation system was going to fail. 

L-orizzont quotes a counsellor saying that no therapy, ritual or prayers would help to change a person's sexuality. It also reports that the permitted volume of alcohol permitted while driving had gone down. 

The Malta Independent reports that more than 50,000 vehicles had been scrapped since 2013. It also quotes the outgoing Chamber of Advocates president saying the new system of judicial appointments was working well but still needs to improve.
