The Times of Malta reports on a €300,000 direct order given to a company which is now being renewed repeatedly. It also reports on yet another planning application for a fuel station in ODZ.
The Malta Independent features the World Bank report on the ease of doing business, and finds that Malta is once again at the bottom of the EU list. It also reports that there were 366 parliamentary questions which remained unanswered so far in this legislature.
In-Nazzjon focusses on PN leader Adrian Delia's speech, in which he accuses the government of undermining the pillars of democracy. It also reports on the shooting in Dingli in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday which left a man critically injured.
L-Orizzont features the appeal by the General Workers' Union to the Prime Minister for trade union membership to become mandatory. It also reports that Air Malta will start to operate to three new destinations in Germany.
