The Times of Malta reveals that a prisoner took a selfie in his cell, sparking off the expected consequences, as well as details of the hearing at the Planning Authority which meant that Wied Ghomor will not be developed.

In-Nazzjon also had a story about mobile phones in the prison, revealing that 148 were found in Corradino over a five-year period.

The Malta Independent opted for the Wied Ghomor story, along with a report that the Prime Minister refuses to investigate the string of direct orders given out by his ministers, saying that the National Audit Office did this on a regular basis.

L-Orizzont, in the meantime, runs reports on the proposals to revise the rent laws and agricultural policy.
