Emma Muscat's return to Malta following her performance on Italian TV show Amici featured prominently on the front pages of Saturday's newspapers.

Times of Malta reports the right-wing Italian Home Affairs Minister's warning that Malta will no longer get away with not accepting migrants rescued in the Mediterranean. It also reports that yet more Air Malta flights have been cancelled or delayed as the disarray at the national carrier persisted yesterday.

The Malta Independent says a religious order was defending its part in a controversial development deal in St Julian's, saying the money it would raise would help them give a better service to the community. 

L-orizzont reports Malta Developers' Association boss Sandro Chetcuti saying it was architects who were responsible for building extensions and admitting that Malta would be "unrecognisable" within 20 years time. 

In-Nazzjon quotes PN leader Adrian Delia saying the party had a clear policy for Gozo. It also reports that a marathon will be held on Sunday to raise money for the party media.
