The Times of Malta reports that Malta has lost considerable ranking in a quality of life study. It also reports MSV Life CEO David Curmi saying that within around just five years, the government will have to introduce second pillar pensions if it is to stave off a crisis.

The Malta Independent reports that some of the Wasteserv sites appear to be operating with expired permits. The newspaper also says that the fuel station talks had stalled because of new negotiators on the government side.
