The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

Times of Malta reports that the President, members of her secretariat and organisers are facing six lawsuits for damages over the Paqpaqli supercar crash.

The newspaper also reports that police hope that the survivor of a botched assassination attempt at an upholstery shop in Attard last month will be able to help them crack the case which remains shrouded in mystery. 

The Malta Independent says the suspects in the Daphne Caruana Galizia murder have not spoken a word since their arrest.

It also reports how a reformed drug addict was jailed three years for trafficking 14 years ago.

In-Nazzjon reports on fears that Malta is becoming an international hub for the trafficking of cannabis.
