Good morning, the following are the top stories in Malta's daily newspapers.

Times of Malta reports that the Finance Minister was unaware of a record €274 million direct order set to be given for the running of an extension to St Vincent de Paul Home. The newspaper also reports that the effect of slime from fish farms on the marine environment has not been properly studied yet. 

The Malta Independent says Pilatus Bank whistleblower Maria Efimova is expected to be charged with perjury and slander in the wake of the Egrant inquiry findings. It also reports that lawyers defending the three men accused of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia have been 'accused' of forum shopping after filing a new request for bail.

In-Nazzjon says there are concerns that the cost of living wage increase in the forthcoming Budget will not include the recent rise in fuel prices. It also reports that a carer as St Vincent de Paul Home was suspended after reportedly assaulting a patient with a pipe during an argument. It also says that the prime minister has not apologised yet following corruption found in the privatisation of a yacht yard.  

l-orizzont gives prominence to a deal announced on Monday which will see aircraft maintenance company SR Technics expand its Malta operations. The newspaper also quotes former members of the PN executive saying that despite replacement of the PN leader arrogance and a negative attitude within the party persists.
