These are the stories that made it to the front pages of Thursday's newspapers:

The Times of Malta reported that gay men will be allowed to donate blood as from 2019, along with the harrowing story of a 15-year-old girl who was blackmailed into having sex with a predator she had met online.

The online predator also made it to the front page of The Malta Independent, which gave prominence to the school transport system meant to come into force this academic year, with the government saying that negotiations were at the final stages.

In-Nazzjon also reports on the confusion still reigning over school transport, along with two other stories: one about a police haul of heroin and cocaine, and another about the ongoing controversy surrounding the proposed Attard bypass - the Central Link project.

L-Orizzont's main story is about a Budgetary measure which came into force on Wednesday from which 200,000 would benefit, as well as a report saying that gays are still being bullied.
