Good morning, the following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

Times of Malta gives prominence to concerns by the Superintendence of National Heritage over an unauthorised tunnel survey in connection with the Santa Luċija project. It also reports that police have lifted data from the offices of a wealth management firm reportedly at the heart of a Venezuelan money laundering scam.

MaltaToday also reports on the Venezuelan scam, saying Bank of Valletta filed a suspicious transaction report against the wealth management company,  Portmann in 2015.

The newspaper also reports that Pilatus has locked horns with the MFSA over its appointment of a caretaker manager for the bank.

The Malta Independent reports that the controversial two-month electricity billing system is to remain in place following a review.  It also says that allegations that a young German cyclist was murdered at the foot of Dingli Cliffs in 2016 have no reasonable basis, according to the Attorney General's office. 

l-orizzont leads with the agreement announced on Tuesday which will see some of Air Malta's routes sold on the Ryanair website. It also reports that a Briton drowned in Armier Bay on Tuesday.

In-Nazzjon says there is another bed shortage crisis at Mater Dei Hospital and preparations are underway for beds to be put in the corridors of the paediatrics section.
