The Times of Malta features to the drive-by, fatal shooting of a man, in an incident which also left two others injured. It also reports on signs that healthcare professionals are suffering from burn-out.
The murder also made it to the front page of the Malta Independent, which also reports on a consultation process being planned with an eye to reforming laws on prostitution and human trafficking.
L-Orizzont also gives prominence to the shooting, accompanied by a story on the controversial order to remove religious symbols from health centres, a decision which was revoked by the Health Minister almost as soon as it went public.
