Good morning, the following are the stories making the front pages in Malta's newspapers. The newspapers are dominated by revelations yesterday by the Daphne Project, the exception being l-orizzont, whose focus is elsewhere.
Times of Malta says the police focus in the Daphne Caruana Galizia murder investigation is on organised crime.
MaltaToday reports how a witness told reporters that Economy Minister Chris Cardona had been chatting with one of the Caruana Galizia murder suspects in a bar. It also reports how Daphne Caruana Galizia's sister said the family had refused to hand over the journalist's laptop to the police.
In-Nazzjon too reports how minister Chris Cardona reportedly met with one of the suspects of the Caruana Galizia murder. It also gives prominence to a PN press conference where party leader Adrian Delia said the people deserved replies to its questions.
The Malta Independent says Dr Cardona denied drinking with the Caruana Galizia murder suspect.
The man story in l-orizzont is that poverty has continued to decrease in Malta, a story given secondary importance on the front page of Times of Malta. L-orizzont also reports how a lawyer said in court on Tuesday that the Caruana Galizia murder case was blown out of proportion.
