All national newspapers today lead with Monday’s tragedy involving a tourist bus, which left two tourists dead and 50 injured, six of them critically. The accident happened when a hop on-hop off double-decker bus hit low-lying tree branches in Żurrieq.

Times of Malta quotes Health Minister Chris Fearne saying that two children and two adults are in intensive care, and one other foreigner needed a major operation.

In-Nazzjon says the situation was gruesome as the foreigners, who were on vacation in Malta, ended up in the centre of the frightening drama.
