Newly installed Archbishop Charles Scicluna will be on #TimesTalk this evening, fielding questions about the future of the Church in Malta after Mgr Paul Cremona, the bad bruising it got in the divorce referendum and the lingering legacy of the clerical abuse.

In a blunt exchange of views, Mgr Scicluna speaks about the worrying trends in Church attendances as well as his views about politics and hunting in Malta.

He also finds himself explaining why a career in football would have never been an option, had he not opted for priesthood.

The programme, which was recorded this morning, airs at 6.45pm on TVM, with repeats on Wednesday on TVM at 8.30am and another repeat on TVM2 on Wednesday at 1pm. It will be uploaded in full on timesofmalta.com later on Tuesday.

The programme is produced by Times of Malta and presented by head of media Herman Grech and chief reporter Mark Micallef.
