Three people are in hospital, one critically, after a head-on crash in St Julian's this morning, the police said.
The incident happened in St Andrew’s Road at 12.30am when a Renault Megane driven by a 19-year-old of Mosta, carrying a 17-year-old girl from Santa Venera as a passenger, was involved in a collision with a Ford Kuga, driven by a 29-year-old from St Paul’s Bay. The three were rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
The two teenagers sustained grievous injuries, and the man is in critical condition, the police said. The 29-year-old suffered slight injuries.
Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech is conducting an inquiry.
The police are investigating.
