The Super 5 numbers drawn last Wednesday were considered as special and unique since they were selected by three players who split between them more than € 400,000, Maltco said.

The lucky numbers drawn were 27, 17, 41, 37, 7.

Maltco said in a statement the three winning tickets were bought from Siggiewi, Birkirkara and Sliema.

Since the beginning of this year, there has been almost one winner per month for the Super 5 game with one person becoming a millionaire last April. There were 10 winning tickets since January.

Upon collecting their winnings, all winners declared that they would have been happier had they won the jackpot on their own.

One said that on the day of the draw, her horoscope predicted that her financial situation would ameliorate.

“When I realised I had won, I went on the Maltco’s website to make sure I had actually won such an amount….and I could not believe that I did,” she said.
