Three persons were injured when a car smashed into a water bowser in December 13 Road, Blata l-Bajda, late yesterday.

The incident happened at about 9pm. near the Republic Monument.  The bowser was stationary at the time, watering the plants on the centre strip.

A female passenger was grievously injured. Another passenger and the car driver suffered slight injuries.
