Two cars were destroyed and another extensively damaged by fire this afternoon.

The police said the cars, a Fiat Punto, a Suzuki Vitara and a Dodge Calibre were in Triq il-31 ta’ Marzu, Gharghur.

One car caught fire at 1.15pm and the other two, which were parked nearby, soon went up in flames.
