A head-on collision between a car and a truck near Mt St Joseph in Mosta ended up with the hospitalisation of all three occupants of the car.

The five-year-old daughter of the British couple, who reside in Qawra, was one of the injured. The family had to be rescued from the car by the Civil Protection Department.

Police confirmed that the accident took place at 5.30pm. The busy road had to be closed for a considerable time
