Malta's Eurovision song This Is The Night, released to the Maltese public through iTunes has from position 172 in the top 200 to the top three and is expected to rise to number 1 in a few days.

The song, written by Kurt Calleja himself and composed by Swedish Johan Jämtberg and Mikael Gunneråsm, is produced by Gunnerås and mixed by artist and audio engineer Dann Pursey for Bonaire Media. Pursey is currently sitting at number one in the USA Billboard album chart for his work with "One Direction".

Since the national final, Kurt has traveled to Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Lithuania and more recently to Georgia to promote the Maltese entry. He is currently on a promotional visit to Istanbul in Turkey. Later this month he is expected to visit Amsterdam and Italy.

Kurt is expected to fly back to Malta today, in time to join the largest Eurovision Dance at St George's Square in Valletta at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow. The public is encouraged to join the fun and participate in the largest Eurovision dance ever to make history.

Arriva will be providing special trips from various localities to Valletta, for those attending dance, which is organised by the Xarabank team.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 22, 24 and 26. Malta will be the fourth performer during the second semi-final on May 24 with the hope of making it to the final on May 26.
