Eurosport, which will once again be donating €10,000 to L-Istrina, is inviting all nurseries involved in the Youth F.A. to participate in the third edition of the L-Istrina EuroSport Football Nursery Fun Event.

“Every year the whole country unites to raise money for a good cause. We are very proud to donate a sum of our earnings every year to L-Istrina, but we’re even more delighted to offer children the chance to do their part while having fun and interacting with children of other nurseries,” said Christina Peresso, CEO at Peresso Group.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. George Abela President of Malta, the event will be held on Sunday 15th December 2013 from 9.00am to 1.00pm at St. Aloysius College B’Kara and Infetti Grounds B’Kara.

The event is not competitive, giving children the opportunity to practise the sport they enjoy while raising money for people in need.

For this year’s edition all participating nurseries within the Youth F.A. from the Under 10 age group downwards have been invited to participate.

Participants will be donating towards the cause and more donations are expected from visitors during the event. A special certificate, signed by His Excellency Dr. George Abela and a special medal for the occasion will be given to all participants.

Last year’s event saw 300 children taking part over seven different pitches and the activity raised more than €5,000.
