A 46-year old man and his passenger, a 42-year old woman, were hospitalised after their car collided with a van on the Coast Road in Baħar ic-Cagħaq yesterday.

The incident took place at about 8.30am close to Kennedy Grove. The van driver was unhurt. This is the third such collision on the Coast Road since it was reopened at the end of last month.

The Malta Road Safety Council called on all drivers to follow road signage, including speed limits and the fact that no overtaking is allowed.
