• Visit the medieval chapels at Ħal Millieri at Bir Miftuħ and the Garden of Rest which will be open to the public from 9.30am to 12pm. Admission is free of charge but donations for the historic sites’ upkeep by Din l-Art Ħelwa will be appreciated. To reach the chapel of the Annunciation at Ħal Millieri take the second turn to the right after the duck roundabout outside Żurrieq; the Bir Miftuħ chapel is found after passing by the roundabout outside Malta International Airport. The Garden of Rest is situated further in from the public library in Floriana.

• Visit the prehistoric temples of Skorba and Ta’ Ħaġrat, l/o Mġarr, for free from 9am till 5pm (last admission 4.30pm). There will be guided tours at Skorba at 11.30am in Maltese and at 3pm in English; and Ta’ Ħaġrat Temples at 10am in Maltese and at 1.30pm in English.

• Watch an encore screening of the Metropolitan Opera’s production of Verdi’s La Traviata at St James Cavalier Cinema, Valletta, at 2.30pm. For tickets, visit www.kreattivita.org.

• Today is the last chance to visit David Pisani’s exhibition Vanishing Valletta at Space C, Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier, Valletta. It consists of 192 photos taken by Pisani over 29 years starting from 1982, documenting Valletta and the harbour area with an emphasis on the capital’s socially deprived periphery and Strait Street.
