Clayton Fava, 21 of Zabbar, was today jailed for 18 months after admitting in court to having stolen a laptop computer, a camera and jewellery from the residence of Colin Ellis of Zabbar.

The theft took place in April last year.

The court found that the accused had cooperated with the police, but it noted that he had a previous conviction for theft and had failed to reform himself. The court also found that the accused had a drug problem and a weak character and needed help.
