Teatru Manoel staff were surprised to find audience members had left quite a mess after a holiday season performance this week.

In an indignant Facebook post, the theatre bemoaned the state in which one of its boxes was left, uploading a photo of packets of crisps and bottles of half-finished beverages on the floor.

“I can’t understand the reason we seem to enjoy littering – not in our own homes of course, but this is one of the boxes in the theatre this morning” the Facebook post read.

Food and beverages are not permissible in the theatre.
