Thea Garrett will show off her Eurovision dress today in a dress rehearsal just one day before tomorrow's Eurovision semi-final in Oslo.

She had another great night last night, even though she had to sleep a bit earlier than usual to make sure she wakes up fresh for today's dress rehearsals.

Yesterday was the turn of the ‘big four' countries (France, Germany, Spain and the UK) to host a party, which was held at the Oslo City Hall, famous for being the venue of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Thea walked the pink carpet where she posed for photos and was interviewed by a number of European television and radio stations. She also got to meet the Mayor of Oslo and his fiancée and performed My Dream to the couple in his office.

The guests were then treated to a performance by last year's Norwegian winner Alexander Rybak who said he was relieved to be giving away his Eurovision crown this year to someone else. He also advised this year's winners to learn how to say no.

Thea soon met up her new best friend, Polish singer Marcin Mrozinski, and the two spent the night dancing, embracing and giving interviews together, attracting a lot of attention from the press.

Marcin also gave Thea a flower and praised her song My Dream during his interviews, describing it as a great song that reminds him of the good old 90s.

Thea and Marcin were the last to leave the party. On the bus home the Maltese delegation began singingAll you need is Love, prompting Thea and Marcin to join in the fun.

Despite their seeming inseparability the two still insist they are just friends.

Today is a big day for Thea and the rest of the performers taking part in tomorrow's semi-final, where only 10 out of 17 countries will make it to Saturday's big final night.

Thea will perform twice, once in the afternoon and then again in the evening. The Maltese public will get the chance to see the dress that Thea and her tailor Frans Spiteri created together for her performance, something > which has been kept hidden from everyone until the very end.

Mr Spiteri has said that the dress will be comfortable, enabling Thea to bring out her voice effortlessly. Tens of Maltese fans, including Thea's parents, will arrive in Oslo today to support the young Eurovision starlet.
