The Rules, Thea’s fourth single release to date, sees the young singer traverse the pop spectrum, practically ditching any hint of R’n’B that may have infiltrated her earlier releases.

Instead, she has embraced a dance groove that is even more refined than the upbeat hybrid vibe that propelled previous single Musilicious into the local radio charts. The new single, akin to Kylie’s pulsating pop rhythm, is once again drenched in catchy melodies – from its squelchy synth hooks to its chorus and back.

Thea’s music has been attracting a fair amount of attention at an international level, thanks not only to her My Space site, which is receiving hundreds of daily hits from all over the world, but also to the fact that she launched The Rules during a performance in London’s West End.

A number of international songwriters were present at the launch, and following her performance, Thea was approached by a number of established British and Swedish writers and producers with the intention of potential collaborations in the near future.
