The Gozo Creative Theatre Club (GCTC) staged the controversial play The Second Coming of Joan of Arc by Carolyn Gage at the Brookies Bar, Victoria, on January 29, 30 and 31.

The one-woman play is a fictionalised account of a teenaged, cross-dressing, lesbian Joan of Arc. It was first performed during Notte Gozitana (Lejliet Lapsi) last year.

GCTC director George Mizzi and a group of actors have been working on theatrical productions since 2002.
