The exhibition Sea She Sees, inspired by the waters surrounding Malta, is coming to an end tomorrow.

Curated by gallerist/artistic director/photographer Janette Danel, the exhibition comprises 38 works of art, including painting, photography and sculpture, by 15 women artists from eight countries.

It features statements by Celia Borg Cardona and Ruth Bianco; more imaginary works by Sallyanne Morgan and Ġulja Holland; wry expressions by Debbie Caruana Dingli; semi-realistic expressions by Mary de Piro, Debbie Bonello, Caroline Navarro, Arja Nukarinen Callus and Miyuki Sugihara; and purely sea-inspired pieces by Laura Swale, Catherine Cavallo, Sally Jane Fuerst, Nadette Clare-Talbot Bettridge and Danel herself.

The Sea She Sees exhibition is on at the Maritime Museum, Vittoriosa, until tomorrow. Opening hours: 9am to 5pm. A donation from sales will be given to the Women’s Foundation and Dar Merħba Bik. For more information, send an e-mail to janettedanel@gmail.com.
