10am The President presides over the official welcoming ceremony at the beginning of a State visit by Albanian President Ilir Meta at St George’s Square, Valletta.

10.15am The President holds a tete-a-tete meeting – followed by bilateral talks with the Maltese and Albanian delegations and a joint press conference – with Albanian President Ilir Meta at the Palace Valletta.

1.30pm The President attends a theatrical production entitled Ma Niċħdek Qatt organised by the Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl Foundation at Corradino Correctional Facility, Kordin.

7.30pm The President receives a group of students currently in Malta on an exchange from France on a courtesy call at Verdala Palace.

8.15pm The President meets the actors and production team of Il-Mixja at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

Wednesday

9.20am The President delivers a speech at an event entitled ‘Empowered Women Unite’, organised by Angele Cristina, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

10am The President receives students from the Link School of English on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

11am The President receives Mgr Alfred Xuereb, Apostolic Nuncio to South Korea and Mongolia, on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

11.30am The President meets Virginia Gamba, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Children and Armed Conflict, at San Anton Palace.

2pm The President meets Monica Carco, representative of the UN Industrial Development Organisation, at San Anton Palace.

3.30pm The President is interviewed by Tonio Bonello during the programme Il-Polz taċ-Ċittadin on Radio Malta.

8.30pm The President visits an activity organised in honour of the new recruits of the Armed Forces of Malta in Żurrieq.
