The University is hosting a lecture on the 'Physics of DNA: Unravelling hidden abilities of the most important molecules' by Prof. Alexei A. Kornyshev from Imperial College, London. The lecture will be held at the University's Erin Serracino Inglott Hall at 6 p.m. tomorrow.

This will be part of the programme of international scientific conferences being hosted by the University this week. The seventh International Workshop on Functional and Nanostructured Materials will be held until Tuesday; the third International Conference and seventh International Workshop on Auxetics and Related Systems from tomorrow till Friday; and the fifth International Symposium on Trends in Continuum Physics will be held until Tuesday.

These conferences will attract around 80 delegates from universities and companies in Poland, Malta, UK, Italy, Germany, Greece, Austria and Ukraine, among others.
