Thirty senior citizens were yesterday awarded certificates after doing a digital media course, part of a pilot project aimed at equipping the elderly with digital skills.

Sessions were held in Luqa, Rabat and Marsascala, with each participant receiving 20 hours of training.

The project was the result of collaboration between MITA, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing and the Parliamentary Secretariat for Competitiveness and Economic Growth.
