In collaboration with Nature Trust (Malta), the University of Malta Junior College will be screening The Cove, an award-winning 90-minute documentary inspired by the work of world famous dolphin trainer Ric O'Barry.

O'Barry was the man who trained the legendary Flipper, only to spend the past 38 years working to release all captive dolphins back into their natural habitat. The film reveals how dolphins are being repeatedly slaughtered in an atrocious way, in their thousands.

Members of the general public, students aged 12 and over accompanied by their parents, teachers, educators and policy-makers are invited to watch this documentary. Entrance is free.

Contact Romina Sah Frendo at the Junior College on romina.sah-fren do@um.edu.mt or call or SMS 7755 0550, citing a contact person and fixed line number, to reserve seats.

The Cove will be screened on May 20 at 7 p.m. and seats must be reserved by no later than Wednesday.
