The Azimut|Benetti Group will be attending the first event of the autumn boating season: the Cannes Boat Show, running from tomorrow to Sunday.

The company will be exhibiting 20 luxury yachts at this year’s event, including three completely new models by Azimut Yachts: superyacht Azimut 80, motor yacht Azimut Magellano 53, as well as Azimut Atlantis 50 yacht.

Starting out as an independent brand, Atlantis yachts eventually included the tagline “by Azimut”, and now the name will be Azimut Atlantis.

Luxury yacht Azimut 80 is the new, highly anticipated 24-metre boat in the Flybridge Collection; it is designed to embody a lifestyle where comfort and well-being merge with sophisticated and understated elegance. With the proven success of their prior collaborations in larger models, Stefano Righini (exteriors) and Achille Salvagni Architetti (interiors) team up once again. The result is a design which revolves around four different stylistic proposals, each one distinct in terms of its colours and furnishing: Portofino, Dolce Vita, Firenze, and Riviera.

The Azimut Atlantis 50 includes innovations by the Neo Design team for added versatility, with both an open and a coupé version available for buyers. In the open version, the main deck is a single open space with just a few steps dividing the bathing platform and the stern; while, the coupé version offers the option to create a more intimate space by separating the inside and the outside with a three-leaf glass door. The cockpit design, in the coupé version, includes a table built into the sunbathing platform. The hardtop is electrically operated.

The Atlantis 50 accommodates four to six guests, with the option of adding a third cabin. Equipped with twin Cummins 600HP engines, the 50 can reach a top speed of 33 knots, and has a cruising speed of 29 knots.

At the Cannes Boat Show, the new Azimut 80 flybridge yacht will be making its mark. Those who love being onboard a yacht will enjoy the four distinct interior styles available – Portofino, Dolce Vita, Firenze and Riviera. The cockpit is spacious and includes a dining table for eight. Two floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining room and the saloon provide plentiful natural light and great views, while the flybridge boasts 42 square metres of space. The owner will enjoy the full-beam bathroom, which includes a Jacuzzi and glassed-in shower stall.

Twin MAN 1550HP engines give a maximum speed of 29 knots. The fuel tank holds 6,000 litres, while the water tank holds 1,100 litres. Options include outfitting with CMC Marine electric fin stabilizers and a hardtop.

Finally, Azimut will showcase the new Magellano 53, the latest offering in the stylish expedition series. The 53 replaces the 50, which has enjoyed good sales worldwide, including in Hong Kong, Thailand and China. The Magellano 53 offers three cabins for up to six guests, as well as a pantry with enough space for supplies, equipment and, occasionally, an extra bed. The dual-mode semi-displacement hull, designed by Bill Dixon exclusively for the Magellano collection, ensures smooth navigation, even in head seas, reducing the pitch’s width and naturally diminishing the impact in the waves. The 600bhp engine offers a cruising speed of 16 knots, with enough torque to propel the boat through very rough sea conditions.

The Atlantis models join the Magellano, Flybridge, S, and Grande Collections, successfully completing the merging of Atlantis with Azimut Yachts.
