Testing has resumed at last, with all teams kicking off what is expected to be a four-day test at Barcelona this morning.
Both Ferrari and McLaren are trying new front wings, with the latter appearing to be particularly innovative featuring a new spar over but not connected to the nose. Other teams will no doubt be watching closely to see if it flexes. The Ferrari also features a new engine cover.
The best mid-day times were Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) 1'21.690 49, Nick Heidfeld (BMW) 1'22.114 29 and Pedro de la Rosa (McLaren) 1'22.809 41.
