Parking at Antonio Muscat Fenech Street, in Qormi, is horrible. It is a test of one's driving skills, as one has to drive with care in the narrow lane due to cars being parked on both sides of the street, some illegally.

The mayor of our village, Jesmond Aquilina, has been informed of the situation. May I remind him that the yellow markings of the bays have disappeared and need to be repainted. Furthermore, small parking spaces between garages and houses need to be eliminated. As the direction of traffic has been changed, garage owners now have a big problem getting out of their garages.

I suggest that the mayor and council make good use of local wardens and book those who break the law. I appeal to our council to take immediate action for a fair solution.
