Alfa Romeo, the Italian auto manufacturer synonymous with style and beauty on wheels, is celebrating 100 years and the local agent will be holding a driving skills exhibition to mark the occasion.
Ucim Co. Ltd will hold the driving skills exhibition at the Ħal Far karting racetrack on June 5 and 6.
The Italian Centro Internazionale Guida Sicura, a patron of the event with Ucim Co., will be sending prominent Italian rally champion Alex Fiorio to Malta to showcase the driving dynamics of Alfa models at the June event.
Francesca Mamo, Ucim managing director, said that celebrating the carmaker's milestone together with its loyal and proud Alfa Romeo owners and enthusiasts on a track was the best way the company felt it could reward them for their passion towards the brand.
The lucky participants will have the chance to test their driving capabilities on the latest model of the Alfa Mito range - the Quadrifoglio Verde.
Ucim Co. said anyone interested in taking part in the event can fill in a form obtainable from the Alfa Romeo showroom or the Waldorf Auto Service Centre in Valley Road Msida.
There are a limited number of places available and priority will be given to Alfa Romeo owners servicing their car at the company's service centre and to anyone purchasing an Alfa Romeo prior to the event.
Other individuals could also ask to participate but places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, Ucim Co. said.
