No fewer than 10 car brands from Europe and Japan - all represented by Mizzi Motors Ltd - are taking part in the Mizzi Motor Show 2007 at Piazza Marina, Excelsior Grand Hotel, Floriana, from this evening to Sunday.

Among the brand new models are the Audi A5 Coupé and the all-new Nissan X-Trail, while there is a version of the Volkswagen Golf GT Sport with the new 1.4-litre TSI turbo-charged engine that produces 170 bhp.

A comprehensive selection of all the brands are on display, taking in Citroën, Daihatsu, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Seat and Suzuki.

Opening times are tonight from 6 to 10 and tomorrow and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Entrance, from Piazza Marina, Haywharf (next to AFM Maritime Squadron), is free of charge.

The A5 is certainly a highlight. Launched internationally earlier this year, it is a modern grand tourer in the best tradition. It marries sporty dynamism with refined elegance, combining Audi brand's legendary sophistication and quality.

The X-Trail has a new chassis, new engines, more equipment, enhanced comfort and greater interior space, while the Golf has an extremely powerful, torquey and economical engine with enhanced specifications.

Mizzi Motors are making available attractive offers including no deposit, with repayment over six years (seven for the Mitsubishi Colt), special packages for students and favourable insurance deals.

A Garmin Nuvi navigation system is being given free with the Daihatsu Sirion and Terios and all Citroën models.
