Dynamo Kiev have reached agreement with Valletta to sign Frank Temile. The talented forward had been widely expected to seal a move abroad after a host of clubs, including two from Germany, expressed an interest in him but Dynamo Kiev were the ones who pushed hardest to land Temile.

The Times has learnt that Dynamo Kiev officials travelled to Germany last week to discuss Temile's transfer with the player himself and his agent, Henry Ekezie.

Two German clubs, namely Duisburg and Hoffenheim, had also reportedly enquired about the possibility of taking Temile on board but the 17-year-old forward has opted for Dynamo, having also visited the club's facilities in Ukraine after passing a medical.

Earlier this week, Ekezie informed Valletta that an unnamed club were interested in Temile and after discussions between all parties involved, Victor Sciriha, the president of Valletta, yesterday signed the documents for the Nigerian's transfer to the Ukrainian outfit.

Temile is expected to sign a five-year contract with Dynamo Kiev who will play in the second qualifying round of the Champions League next season after finishing second to champions Shakhtar Donetsk.
