Frank Temile has completed a deadline day move from Qormi to Naxxar Lions.

The Nigerian striker was released by Qormi after he refused to sign a new contract. The Lions immediately opened talks with the former Birkirkara and Valletta striker and an agreement was reached with his registration completed just before the 7pm deadline.

Premier League leaders Hibernians have also bolstered their attack when they signed Serbian Marco Rajic and Andrea Luiz dos Santos de Lima, of Brazil.

Tarxien Rainbows also brought in a new overseas striker with the signing of Senegalese forward Souly Mohammed.

Sliema Wanderers were forced to change their transfer plans after Julio Alcorse’s proposed move to the Blues collapsed as the Argentine striker is reportedly serving a match-fixing ban following his spell in the Indonesian league.

The Wanderers have now brought in Brazilian striker Matteus who started the season with Mosta.
