Two teenagers have been charged with murdering a 17-year-old girl and her grandmother who died in a suspected arson attack in east London.

Pauline Adams, 57, and her granddaughter Shannen Vickers died in a fire at their three-bedroomed flat in Bethnal Green in the early hours of Sunday.

Their bodies were found in a rear bedroom of the flat on the fifth floor of a seven-storey block.

Scotland Yard said today they had charged Jake Sheehan, 19, and David Philip, 18, with the women's murder.
