Mobile Gadgets are fun, educational and functional.

This was shown during an event organised by Mobile Monday where all those attending tried out the latest technological mobile devices that were on display as part of Vodafone’s gadget lab. The gadget that attracted most attention was a remote controlled car running on an android application developed by one of Vodafone’s employees. The HTC Desire Smartphone acted as a remote control for this model car.

Vodafone and Mobile Monday are both committed in educating the general public about all the benefits that the latest mobile technology can provide.

During this event Spanish entrepreneur Ric Ferraro spoke about the importance of developing new ideas and translating them into innovative products and services. Ric Ferraro gave out information about the very latest development in location based services from around the world. Moreover he focused on start-ups in the communication technology industry, emphasizing that start-ups must be well prepared that it would take some time before they would be able to make money. Furthermore a very clear business model would make life easier for any start-up.

This point was emphasised further by Alexandre Froment-Curtil, Head of Marketing of Vodafone Malta who stated that any innovative idea should be shared with others so that different ideas will develop a concept into an innovative product or service.

Mobile Monday is working on its participation in the Mobile Gaming Summit which is going to be held between November 3 and 5.
