US basketball team the Portland Trail Blazers were clearly rattled by the San Antonio Spurs as they prepared for a semi-final clash.

A baby rattlesnake, estimated at about 1m-1.2m, was discovered in the team's changing room in San Antonio, Texas, about two hours before the game. Reserve forward Thomas Robinson saw the venomous snake when he moved a bag from his locker.

Guard Mo Williams tweeted that it was a scary experience. Later San Antonio recorded a 114-97 victory over the Trail Blazers for a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semi-finals.
