St Benedict's College Boys' Secondary School, Kirkop, has produced the play Sk8bord, which deals with issues concerning teenage life, such as education, fulfilling one's potential, peer pressure, being assertive in challenging situations and the controversial issue of illegal immigration.

All the school's Form 3 students were given the opportunity not only to see the play but also to interact with the actors and discuss their views and opinions on the themes it raised.

The play was written by the assistant school head Raymond Muscat and directed by Keith Scicluna.

It was filmed at the MITP theatre in Valletta and will be used in the future for educational purposes during personal and social development (PSD) lessons.
