The Malta Union of Teachers has urged teachers not to step in for school technicians, who have been instructed to take industrial action as from today.

In a statement backing the Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin, the MUT said it had issued the appeal to ensure the UĦM's directives to technicians will be a success.

The UĦM last week instructed technicians not to make use of any means of communication, including e-mail, following a stalemate in discussions over their conditions.
