Three Premier League players have been sanctioned by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following last weekend’s games.

Tarxien Rainbows' Nigerian defender Ebiabowei Baker received a two-match ban after earning a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Sliema Wanderers’ forward Kerlon during Friday’s game, won by the Rainbows 3-2.

Naxxar Lions captain Angus Buhagiar has been suspended for one match after being sent off for two yellow cards in the 2-2 draw against Birkirkara while team-mate Moises Gnenegbe also received a one-match ban for four yellow cards.
