Tarxien Rainbows beat Floriana 3-0 in the first game of the Premier league this afternoon. The Greens had the added humiliation of having Eboh sent off mid-way through the second half.

But the damage had already been done by that time. Luke Vella Critien opened the score for Tarxien just before the half time whistle and Bueno doubled on the 52nd minute. Bueno scored his second on the 82nd minute.

In the second game, Sliema and Qormi featured in a 1-1 draw. Sliema were reduced to 10 men after just three minutes when goalkeeper Henry Bonello was given marching orders. Matthew Bartolo was taken off to enable the substitution of the goalkeeper.

Chetcuti scored first, for Qormi, in the 78th minute, but Dronca equalised for the blues from the penalty spot four minutes later after an action which saw Dos Santos sent off for Qormi.
